How this site is funded
Referral links. When you follow a link from this ledger to the Kakox ledger and end up using the service, a commission may be paid to this site. That is the entire funding model: no advertising, no sponsored records, no paid placement, no data sales.
Which links carry a referral
Links that leave this site for Kakox carry one. That includes the buttons on the landing page, the closing links under the vault and category tables, the mid-page and footer links on a record, the closing link under a note, and the result-area link on an instrument. They are marked as sponsored links in the page markup, and they open in a new tab.
Links that leave this site for a marketplace do not carry one. The original listing link on a record page points at the marketplace itself and carries nothing added by us.
What the referral changes for you
- It does not change the price you pay.
- It does not change what appears on any page here.
- It does not give us access to your order, and we cannot see what you buy.
- It does not create a record. This site has no account system, so there is nothing for a referral to attach to on our side.
What the commission does not buy
No paid records
Records enter the ledger by extraction, not by arrangement. There is no way to pay to have a listing included, moved up a table, or given a better status. The status rule is published and applied by a function, not by a person.
No favourable numbers
Fee rows, thresholds and transit windows are published the same way whether they flatter the service or not. That is why the fee instrument carries a row whose fields are unpublished and marks it as unverified rather than leaving it out of the table.
No review suppression
This site publishes no testimonials, so there is nothing to curate. Where an instrument returns an answer that argues against using an agent — the break-even value on the insurance tool, for instance — the answer stands as calculated.
What we do not accept
- Payment for a change to a record, a status or a published parameter.
- Display advertising, including network ads and affiliate blocks for unrelated goods.
- Sponsored articles, guest posts or link insertions.
- Any arrangement that would require us to remove or soften a published figure.
